Mid Austin Chamber's Innovative Deaf Students Job Development Project

  • All deaf challenged students who attended the level one bloggers entrepreneurship classes @ Chetwyn Rodgers Drive Development Center this summer are eligible to participate in The Mid Austin Chamber of Commerce membership recruitment drive, beginning October 3rd, 2007.
  • Based on the unique community building oriented computer / entrepreneurship / blogging classes taught by senior blog configurator Sy Bounds, with top level blogging concepts shared by Columbia College professor Barbara Iverson, the warm, friendly spirit of Pastor Carol Clemons as sign interpreter, all under the surefooted leadership of a truly great man of God. Pastor / Dr. Curtis A. Rodgers.
  • Here's what we want participating deaf students to do:
  • Show up this Wednesday At 9:00am. Be prepared to deliver 100 Mid Austin Chamber of Commerce membership forms / flyers, to businesses on Madison from Cicero to Kosner, Madison & Cicero to Austin. Cicero from Madison to Chicago Avenue & Cicero and Madison to Cicero to Harrison.
  • We have developed a $25.00 fee for each form that is returned by that business owner who joins the chamber. All we want you to do (deaf student) is to go in the store or business and make sure that the owner or manager receives the form.
  • EACH FORM THAT YOU DELIVER SHOULD HAVE YOUR NAME AND NUMBER CODE ON IT! That's it. If you can simply remember to be careful, courteous and don't forget to deliver each form. Then you will earn money $$$$. See pastor Carol for questions or me Sy Bounds 312-802-4573.
